Four red lights means:

System Power ON
It will start BIOs init.

If it doesnt do anything else, the reasons for it not to work are:

The processor might be damnaged, or not in correctly.

WHAT YOU SAID = BAD

😀

j/k 🙂 Actuall,y I went through similar shininigans, and ended up replacing my power supply for a 350watt sucker and some new pc133 memory. BUt before you do anything else, strip your system down to the bare minimum ie video card, bare mobo out of the box, power supply, keyboard. Sometimes mobos can be notorious for shorting out on the case for one reason or another. But again, give the power supply a shot.

I'll keep up with your progress, this damn board pisses me off.

alright it was the power supply....i tried it with my antec 300 watt one and it worked fine...god damn

and i removed my chrome orb b./c of this

POS power supply!

at least the PS is usually comparatively inexpensive with other pc stuff. Damn expensive hobbies... but it sure beats crack! 😀

freaken eh..
there is nothing wrong with the power supply

it was set on default 230volts

just had to change it to a 115 volt...

the power supply was an athlon approved ps... powerman 250 watts 🙂
