pro 2a hangs @verifying DMI pool and floppy drive light stays on i have tried almost everything anyone have any experience with this?
 
Not enough info. Is this oced? If so, are Vcore and Vcache high enough to support Freq.. Is this a new construct. Is ps atleast 200w. whats your pci config? IRQ conflicts(dont even know if that can lock that early in boot prob not)? Ive had problems before when I changed my setup and didnt enable the auto config setting in bios mines called escd I think. It sets up irq's and that stuff in bios. That all i have to offer. good luck
 
If the floppy drive light stays on it most likely means that you have the floppy drive connector inserted upside down. Turn it over and it should be okay.
