Will only go to 6.5 multiplier and 105fsb with good cooling(29c) so want to know if there's anything else I can do to get this higher. I upped the volts too.
I thought these 600's were sure things to 850?
I have the 2.0 bios--worth upgrading it?

Get the overclockers bios and arctic silver...set it to 1.85v which will be 1.9 if you crossed L7 bridge....
and you should be rockin...double check your L1 bridges too....redo if needed.

Let us know....

I have the K7T Turbo with a Duron 600 and it will only do 650 Mhz. The same CPU on the ASUS A7V will run 900 Mhz with no voltage increases and an operating tempreture of 43 C. I have flashed my MSI K7T with the over clockers bios and I am since unable ot o/c my Duron 600. I think it's an issue with the board it self or the BIOS. Don't go pulling your hair out. Sometimes, all things aren't what they appear to be.

I do use arctic silver
The offered voltage goes to 1.8 with this 2.0 bios
At 7 or above it wont even boot
Since the multiplier goes to 6.5, I assumed its factory unlocked--is this not correct as I bought it new and haven't touched the L1's?

There are never guarantees with overclocking, though most will do 800MHz+ with no problem there are always going to be processors that just don't like to overclock much.

I keep reading about this OC bios for the MSI K7T Pro 2A, but I've not discovered where this bios is located. How about some links.
