MSI Pro 2 & XP ...will it work?

Does anyone know if the MSI Pro 2 (200 FSB) will work with the XP Athlons ????

I haven't recieved mine yet, but word on the street is that you should upgrade to the latest bios if you have an XP (but if you don't have an XP processor, the latest bios causes a performance hit).

Specifically, it fixes a problem recognising the XP 1700+, and an overclocking prob with a ram stick in ddr slot 3

I looked and that is for the KT266. I have the 2nd Pro ...the Pro 2 ...(not even the A). It is the 100x2=200 FSB ...probably an antique by now.

Is this the Bios I need ....or am I stuck getting a later board that will do the 133x2=266 before I can ride that Palamino?

Well, Ace's Hardware's XP article showed upgrading a old KT133 setup, and the mobo was MSI K7T PRo2-A, and it worked fine (@ 200fsb of course).
