Hi all,
I am using MSI Plat. for my first computer and I experience couple of problems. My comp specs are follow: AMD 64 3200+(Venice), 2x512mb Kingston Hyper X, 250 gb SATA Seagate (maybe I should get another HD for C drive?), Gigabyte 6600Gt.
My first question is that my computer keeps on restarting everytime I quit my game (Guild Wars) it pop up a blue window then restart (I couldn't read what it said because it restart right away). Second is that I'm not sure that my memory setting is correct, right now I have it at:

cas latency 2.0
row cycle time (trc) 8
row refresh cyc time (tRFC) 17
ras to cas delay (tRCD) 3
row to row declay (tRRD) 2
min ras active time (tRAS) 6
row precharge time (trp) 2
write recovery time (tWR) 3
write to read delay (tWTR) 1
read to write delay (tRWT) 3
refresh period (tREF) Default settings
read preamble value Default settings
async latency value Default settings
H/W memory hole remapping Default settings
S/W memory hole remapping Default settings
CMD rate 1T
Could you guys please help me set it correctly? Note: I'm not an overclocker but I dont want to underclock my memory either. Just want the best setting :)

Thank You

the default setting set my memory slightly slower than what I used to set it for example CL:2.5, tRRD: 3 etc. So do you think I should leave it as is or change it? O and I did the Mem Test86 yesterday or earlier this morning leave it running for 8 hours or so, it is still running when I woke up, so I shut it down. What exactly does it do? (I'm a computer illiterate)

Hmm I seems to notice that when I play Guild Wars and run winamp at the same time for like 40 min or so once I quit Guild Wars the computer will pop up a blue window screen then restart. I believe it state what the problem was but I cant read in 1 sec. This stuff never happen with my parents' comp (XP 2600+) so im guessing it's because of my mobo?

Do you have the memory in the right slots? If I remember correctly, you need to put the DIMMs in Slots 1-2 for dual-channel.

To stop the PC from automatically restarting, right click on "My Computer" and select the "Advanced" tab. From there select the "Startup and Recovery Settings" button. Then in the "Startup and Recovery" window, uncheck the "Automatically restart" checkbox. Select OK to exit out of all dialog boxes. The next time you get a blue screen, it will not reboot and you will be able to get some more info on what is causing the blue screen. Good Luck!

Ok I got the message window at last it said:
The Problem seems to be caused by the following file: Nv4_disp.dllPAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
then it told me that if this is the first time this happen restart comp. Continue to happen consult admid etc...
Then it said BFA71558 base at BF9B8000, DateStamp 42b0d02C
What is this means?

Those timings seem pretty normal for Hyper-X memory...2-3-2-6 right? Try setting your CAS to 2.5 instead of 2, and raise the vdimm a bit.

the memory is at 2.6V (like it said on the memory), the timing is correct like it said on the memory once again. Plus I tried put everything on auto and that message is still there after I quit Guild Wars
