MSI PCtoPC help?

I tried to network my MSI with my friends computer, i did install the PC-PC driver on both systems all the network protocols are the same, i dont know what i am doing wrong but i cant get my friend's computer to show up in network neighborhood, anyone with expertise with PC to PC please help.
thanks in advance. Oh! to link the 2 computers i am using a 6feetA-A USB cable.
