MSI PC Alert 4 - you use it?

Has anyone ever used this pc temp checking program?

I found it handy for awhile http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/software/swr/spt_swr_list.php.

Until sometimes it would go crazy on the monitoring, like a hospital patient dying and beeping loudly, then shutdown. I nevre got to see why, until when I was using it last night, It said my CPU temp was 27C, then a few minutes later when I was using AIM, it said my temp shot up to 87C, but I looked at MBM5 and saw it was only at 24C.

Is this a bug with the software (I hope) or does anyone know how to fix it? I used to use a MSI board, but now I'm not using one anymore. Perhaps that could be the problem? Since my dad complained that it happened on the computer at home before

It's intended for MSI motherboards. Just curious but why would you want to use it for other brands? There're better programs such as MBM, speedfan, aida32, etc.

From my experience, any program made for monitoring temperatures made by MSI has always been clumsy and unstable.
