MSI $235(CDN) Leadtek $240(CDN) and I can't find the EVGA from monarch.

I'm not going to get Asus I was just wondering.

Well I can only get parts from www.cancomputer.com and those 2 brands are the ones in my price range.

i have the leadtek, it's great. 🙂

both will be agp compliant, or neither, any difference in the spec can only be due to drivers that come packaged with the product.

I think MSI anything is junk personally. Leadtek has always arguably had the best 2D quality. I would get the Leadtek no questions asked.

2D quality? What do you mean? Why would I want something that excels at 2D quality if I'm going to be playing Half Life 2?

Ah, yeah...I did hear about that. That's because they used a one-piece heatsink to cover the GPU and RAM. There are going to be some problems sometimes. But for the most part, MSI video cards are great. Did you hear about the early radeon 9x00 series cooling issues. There was a slight gap between the die and the cooler due to the shim they used, not allowing proper cooling. Sometimes these things happen. Also, a 3rd party heatsink may be an option.

Yes I'll be buying a Thermaltake Schooner GPU Cooler later on. I was just worried it's going to overheat and I won't even be able to use it. Should I use something to clamp it to the board or will it be okay stock?
