I imagine there's probably no discernable difference but there's more reviews at newegg for the Gigabyte which I suppose means most peeps prefer the Gigabyte name.
Purpose of this upgrade is a fanless GPU for my analogue Samsung LCD and my digital NEC LCD. Noise is bad, text clarity is good. No games anymore. HTPC, maybe.
