MSI nforce4 Ultra or SLI

I plan on getting one of these boards. I don't plan on using SLI but may change my mind latter. The price difference is not that bad.

My question does the ultra have features not on the sli? The ultra has one pci x1 slot and one pci x4 slot. The sli does not have these. Will this be a big deal latter?

The Ultra has a PCIe x1 slot, and the SLI does not. So in that sense, the Ultra does have one feature over the SLI, which is an extra PCIe slot.

The Ultra's PCIe x4 slot replaces the SLI's "extra" PCIe x16 slot. The SLI's x16 slot can do everything the Ultra's x4 slot can do and more.

FYI, the Ultra's PCIe x4 slot actually only handles x1 and x2 cards, not x4, according to the manual.
