MSI nForce4 SLI (939) K8N Neo4 for 3800 X2

I was in the same boat as you a while ago. I went the SLI route, even though I did not need it, because I thought it was a fair trade to exchange the few extra SATA ports for the Sound Blaster and SLI capability.

or is there another brand that will serve my needs better, im dizzy from all the reviews ive read, and i dont want to overclock...just want a solid, fast gaming machine without spending too much (over 130)
thanks for the tips

thanks...good reasons, think ill go that way too,

any other boards i should really consider before i buy>?

would DDR 2 be good in this board, or would it be useless?

will 3200 DDR suffice or will i see a lot better performance with 3200 DDR2?

im kind of strapped for cash so the more saved the better

I went with the SLI strictly for the 7.1 Creative onboard audio. I realize it's not an Audigy or anything but it's plenty good enough to play games on. I used the money I saved to upgrade the Video Card I was getting from a 6800 GT to a 7800 GT.
