MSI Neo4 Platinum/SLi "Cell menu"

Hey all, as stated in the topic, I have a MSI Neo4 Platinum/SLI. I think my motherboard is missing some memory dividers and voltage settings. I only have settings for 100, 133, 166, 200, 216, 233, and 250 for my memory, and I've seen reviews that have the bios having many more options. I have the newest bios, and I'm trying to figure out how to get the extra settings.

Overclockers usually get the dfi board over the msi, might be why you don't see too many people with experience with the settings in the cell submenu.

I only touch mine whenever I swap out memory, just to make sure I'm getting the timings the memory is rated at.

I use the latest official now too. The tweaked 1.4 final I was using had a lot more ram options, the 1's you are after, but it was borked for overclocking. anything past 2.39ghz wouldn't even boot, despite doing that speed@default voltages. The ram options available suffice for my needs now and I can run much faster clockspeeds. In the end the clockspeed is the best performance boost so if you give up some ram frequency no BFD. If you do find a great overclocking bios for this board but with better ram selection LMK 'cause I ain't even lookin' 😀

Haha alright... I probably will just make do with the dividers I have now as well, but will try the next official bios when it comes out.

The latest BIOS only has limited dividers, the previous version (by 1, whichever it was) won't boot with HTT of 240 or above, whatever the CPU multiplier of memory divider, 240 or higher WILL NOT WORK, from my experience, and it seems from the experience of others as well.
Basically we all got suckered into a crap motherboar,d unless someone wants to try one of the older BIOS' (if, neither of the 2 most recent revisions).
I think the BIOS that came with my board was OK, but I don't know what version it was 🙁

Disappointing.

The Neo2 was/is a god for OCing...it's too bad so many people are having issues with the Neo4.

Here's the ironic thing: from what i've seen, the very cheap Neo4-F actually seems to OC better than the expensive Neo4 Platinum 😛

I've got and Platinum and an F and both work perfectly. Stable, easily runs HTT up to 350 and gets along with any ram I've put in them.... I recently replace a Asus SLI Premium with the Platinum and it was the best move I could have made..... To each his own.
