MSI neo4 memory pairing

msi site says NEO4 has FSB= 1000

yet right below that in the memory section they talk about DDR400 memory??

My question is why would a FSB of 1000 not want to pair with DDR500 memory?

Im looking to put 4G of Corsair Value Select on a new Neo4 MOBO and do not know which single channel Ram to buy ( DDR400 vs DDR500 )

DDR400 is fine. DDR500 is only for overclocking, and wholey unnecessary.
