MSI Neo4-f sound problems

I thought the Neo4-f would have the soundblaster setup I read about in the SLI round-up. Maybe the hardware is the same but the drivers and sound interface seem very buggy and inconsistent. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt or the sound is very affected or distorted. I guess I will have to buy an audigy after using Nforce2 sound the last few years. In the meantime I will try an old sounndblaster live in case its my speakers or something else. Anyone else have bad/good luck with this sound system?
