i just got new board and chip MSI neo2 platinum and the athlon 64 3500 winchester 939 and i tryed flashing the bios with an updated version and i dont think it updated.. i tryed many times.. when i change somthing in the bios and then start my computer up it blue screens and restarts.. and it wont start up untill i put it back to defult.. dose anyone know why this is happening.. and if somone could tell me step by step on how to update bios manually that would be a big help.. i think its the bios..
 
check to see if the CLRCMOS jumper is set correctly [nr battery] - you do not want to be resetting the bios every time you switch on!
 
i removed the battery already and put it back in to check if that was the problem.. and it wasent its in there all good.
 
🙁 now when i put cd's in my cd rom my computer freezes and when i take them out it unfreezes.. this is so messed up!!!! why would this be happening?
