Because it must not work "as well" as it could and I plan to wring out this machine for O/Cing and want the best Bios available..

It's probably just a matter of fixes and support for devices, etc.

I wouldn't worry about OCing, but that's just me.
 
I bought the board because iits a good OCer... It's basically lijke saving $600 if you want to operate at 4000+ speeds on a 3200 or 3500 CPU...

I read that 1.36 is the sweet spot and some things got "broke' with 1.4...

You might try the 'Motherboards' or 'CPU/Processors/Overclocking' forums if you're looking for really detailed information like this. Or look over at www.overclockers.com; they're a little more focused on in-depth overclocking stuff like this.
