MSI Neo2 Platinum temp readings.

I just got a Neo2 and an A64 winchester 3200+ and the temp readings in MSI's core center are odd. I'm useing the stock cooler and the cpu reads 46c idle and the case temp says 9c. I updated to a latest bios but it didn't do anything. Anyone know what's going on here? I installed the hsf correctly so I dont see how that could be the problem and why the case temp 9c is beyond me.

I get the same strange readings with Core Center. The SYS temp is always at 0C. The CPU temp always reads 4 degrees C higher than MotherBoard Monitor or Everest. I suggest using one of those two utilities to get accurate temp readings. I'd say that your CPU is really running at 41C, which is exactly what I get at stock speed so your HSF is mounted correctly.

Upgrading BIOS did not fix the temp reading problem for me either. I'm at 1.4 Beta currently. I also upgraded to the latest version of Core Center, v 1.7.1.0, and get the same readings.

Core Center isn't a really good program to use and trust...dump it and get something a bit better such as MBM5.

Well I got MBM. Temps now read 38c idle on CPU but the case is still rather low at 17c and I know it's at least 25-30c. Oh well, good enough. Thanks.

Hmm, MBM gives me a constant 20 - 21 case reading, and although my case is a beast I don't think it would be that low..CPU readings are fine for MBM though, and that's all I'm really concerned about.
