MSI Neo2 Plat - SATA PROBLEMS

Here's the deal:

1. I connected the drives to SATA ports 3/4
2. I connected the power cords and SATA cables
3. I went into BIOS settings and enabled raid for SATA ports 3/4
4. I created a striped array(raid 0) and the computer boots and says it's a healthy array
5. When I go to install Windows, it asks if I want a 3rd party raid driver - I select yes
6. I select both the drivers to install and proceed with installation
7. It cannot detect the array
8. When I select a normal installation it recognizes both drives but no array

Why won't the setup detect the array that the BIOS recognizes even after I install the drivers provided with my motherboard?
Do I need a new BIOS version or what?

Please answer ASAP. I am really in a bind to get my computer working. Thank you.
