msi neo2 k8n installation of sata drive

I just build a new system and it has been 5 years since my last built and need some help. I am new to the sata world and would like to know if there is some configuration that needs to be done in the bios for my setup to work properly. I have not installed Windows XP yet and need to know more about the steps needed before installing the OS. The motherboard came with a floppy disk does this have any use in the steps?

Here are the specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Processor Socket 939 (RETAIL)
MSI neo2 K8N (RETAIL)
WD Raptor 74GB WD740GD (OEM)
Corsair TWINX1024-3200C2 1GB DDR400 XMS3200 Dual-Channel (RETAIL)
NEC ND-3500A (OEM)
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB AGP (RETAIL)

The dvd/cd-rw combo is connected to the primary IDE.
The WD Raptor is connected to sata1 (bottom right corner of the MB, after installed on tray) I think there is a missprint on the manual.

Any advice on this setup and what to do next?
Thanks.
