This is my first time using a motherboard with 2 ethernet ports and I was wondering why does windows reports that one of the cable is unplugged. I know I have dual LAN support but if I connect one of the ports to the network shouldn't the message dissapear. I mean I allready have a successfull network connection using either one of the 2 available ethernet ports and both of then work just fine.

If you are using an MSI Neo2 motherboard can you tell me if you have the same issue with yours.

Thanks in advance.

It's a Windows XP thing I believe. If you aren't going to use the second ethernet port, disable it in the BIOS (usually in the onboard device section).
