I'm planning to build a computer with an Athlon 3500 Winchester, 2x 512MB of 3200 memory, an Antec slk3000B case, a Thermalright XP120, 3 120mm nexus fans, and an E-mu 1212M sound card. I will not be overclocking. The computer is intended for general use, but I may want to use it as a "silent" audio workstation. I'll probably use Can anyone say if the MSI NEO2 provides any benefits over the Asus A8V? Both these motherboards have VIA K8T800 Pro chipsets and 5 PCI slots. I know that the Asus A8V has some problems monitoring slow 120mm fans. The MSI might a swell, but I'm not sure. I also know that the MSI can power/monitor 4 fans, while the Asus can only power/monitor 3. I've also heard that the Asus board will disable the onboard audio when ever a PCI sound card is installed (it's apparently some bug unique to the particular board.). Are there any features on the MSI board that I should be aware of?
