All,

I'm about ready to pull my hair out on this one. I have an WinXP Sp2 based MSI Neo 2 Platnium with a FX-55, 1 GB Corsair 3200 XMS, eVGA 6800 Ultra, Soundblaster Audigy 2, OCZ 520 Watt Power Supply,2 Raptors in RAID 0, and Koolance Cooling. System went together pretty easy(Except for a bad driver disk). All benchmarks are good except for 3DMark03/05. When I first ran it on the 1.3 BIOS it would even get to the first screen. After clearing the cmos and flashing to 1.41b it actually runs anywhere from 1/2 to 3/4 through before I get a 3DMark has an error and must close. So I thought maybe I fat fingered a driver install and rebuilt the thing the same thing happens. I have been getting BSOD with memory errors driver errors and things of that source. I swapped out memory and the same thing happens. I know the video card is good and memory should be good as well (From old Intel System). I'm about ready to RMA the thing or throw it out the window. Anyone have any suggestions? (System is not OCed 1mhz and heat does not seem to be a problem)

Thanks,
CKB

Interesting that you say that. I have had the same problem and have the same mobo and very same hardware, same video card etc. But I didnt rebuild my system because 3dmark fails. I just live with it and games play for the most part with out problems. Things happen of course but don't know what to blame etc. My floppy disk controller went bad and I have to RMA mine also. I have to decide on whether to buy a new mobo instead of waiting and not having a pc. MSI tech support is nearly impossible to reach on the phone. I have now tried about a dozen times. No response to 24 hours old email submitted via website like they ask for and say 24 hours they email you back. lol Oh, and 3dmark05 sometimes it passes and sometimes fails. Ever since I upgrade to the newest 3dmark05 update it fails everytime though.
