MSI Neo 4 SLI Platinum Questions

Ok this Is my first build ...I have some questions though just to be on the safe side

1.In the mobo manual I was looking threw it and I see instructions on how to install the porcessor...even though I already know how to do that.It shows in the manual you have to unscrew the retention mechanism as they call it in the book.And it says to detach the sield of the backplate's paster.I never even heard of someone doing that when installing the processor..Has any one done it with thier msi board.In the picture thier peeling some plastic off the plate.

2.Which Lan port should I use ...the Marvel Lan port or the nvidia one(i think thats it) Which one works better.I heard some people say the nvidia one works ****ty but thats random people.

3.Also Questions about the nforce 4 instalation...which drivers from there are usefull and most needed... and which ones are totally useless so I dont **** up

Try installing the fan itself with out the CPU in first and see if that works. If it does then its unnecessary to remove the backplate and all that other stuff that they manual says.

2.) The NVIDIA one has the hardware firewall, so I would use that. I noticed on my nForce3 board that CPU usage is lower with the NVIDIA LAN as well.
3.) Install everything but the Audio driver, unless you're using the integrated audio on board (I hope you're not ).
