I'm considering that motherboard for a new build and was very much considering putting my mothballed Qmicra v2 case back to use. But upon really looking at the case and the motherboard, there may be an issue that someone who owns the board could put to rest.
The heatsink that sits above the I/O back plane....how far above the case's cutout for the I/O back plane does that heatsink sit? The Qmicra has a 120mm fan sitting almost dead above the back plane's case cutout.....the top of the cutout is maybe 1/16" from the bottom of the fan...not exactly a large gap at all.
If the heatsink does extend higher than 1/16" above the I/O plane cutout, can the top be removed for clearance? I have yet to find any info about this at all anywhere....it'd be much appreciated. I really do want to get the Qmicra back into use.
