Your system should be easily handled by that PSU. Make sure the P4-12V lead is connected - if the PSU doesn't have one, get an adapter (~$2. around the web). Also check that your memory is seated properly. And check for overheating problems. How warm is the air coming from the back of your PSU. If it is pretty warm, consider connecting the PSU fan ahead of the thermal control (IOW, direct to +12V). I had to do that to mine as the thermal control was allowing it to get too warm for my piece of mind.
. And before or after doing the above , check for virus/trojan/macro worm, etc. as some of those can cause reboots.

when does it reboot? Only once, after the PC is switched on and then its fine? or does it reboot at random?

My sparkle power supply did the same thing on the same board, until I increased the cpu voltage and changed the memory timings. I run my cpu overclocked at 260 fsb with memory set at 333 (runs at 416). I bumped up the cpu voltage to 1.565 to get it stable. It reads as 1.54 in mbm 5370. I have generic pc3500 memory running at 3-3-6 and 2.5 for the case setting. Try changing your settings before getting a new ps. If you change ps, the sparkle 300w is excellent (with the side 12cm fan, which lowers cpu temps). It's only $28 at newegg.
