msi motherboard, all diagnostic lights red. help.

I just bought a MSI K7T turbo motherboard, and installed an amd 1.0 GHz processor. All of the led lights are red which is telling me that I damaged the processor. (I'm pretty sure that is not the case.) Is there anything else that might cause the led lights to be all red?

My K7 Master manual suggests re-installing the cpu. Make sure you put down the clamp arm, plugged the hs fan to the cpu/fan header, and double check any jumpers associated with the cpu setup(multi, fsb, voltage...if applicable).

Make sure that the Motherboad isn't shorting it self out somewhere on the case... i've had that problem before.
