MSI MBD DEAD after BIOS Flash Upgrade

I have a MSI MS-7207ng ver 2.0 (or Prod # K8NGM2-NBP) motherboard that had an issue where it simply shut down (power OFF) during game play, Internet browsing, etc. I called MSI Suppt and they suggested I d/l the MSI Live Update pgm .. then flash the BIOS .. then update the drivers to fix this problem.

After d/l the pgm OK and flashing the BIOS .. reboot and now I have NO VIDEO. Called MSI back and they said it's out of warranty and I need to buy a new MBD! They will NOT replace the board even thought THEIR support and BIOS flash made the board useless now!

WHAT can I do to fix this problem and get my system back up again ASAP? I really don't have the money to buy a new MBD, CPU and RAM now.

Thanks,
Shane D.

Best option: prepare a bootable (to a Windows 98 DOS prompt) USB flash drive. Also include an autoexec.bat file that would automatically re-flash the bios to the previous version.
2nd option: may need to try booting with a video card installed & see if you can get video from that.

If you're using the onboard video and you have a video card available, try putting that in. You might just get video that will help to reflash. If you're using a video card, try the switching to the onboard video.

Use the clear/reset CMOS jumper. As Binky said, if using a graphics card, remove it and try the onboard graphics (some boards default back to onboard graphics).
