I just thought I would drop you a line on something I tried out today. You may be aware that MSI has released a NEW and IMPROVED K7T PRO 2 Mobo. The ONLY difference according to the MSI website is that on the PRO 2 you can adjust the MULTIPLIER in the BIOS. WooooHoooo! Well, I have the K7T PRO, NOT the PRO 2. (I bet you know where this is going
So I was feeling DANGEROUS today and decided to FLASH my K7T with the K7T 2 bios. You know, thinking that it would give me the adj multi in bios. Well, It didn't hose my board, but it didn't give me adj multi either. :-( I thought I would let you know in case other [H]ard|OCPers had the same idea. I tried it three times, and it DOES NOT WORK on my board. Hopefully this will save some people from possible BAD flashes. Keep up the good work.
