I fitted a MSI Z97i AC and reflashed first time with bios 4.70 within Windows. It came up with list of bios updates including 1.80. Strange I had 4.7. Is 1.80 part of the Bios update?

I can't show the list of updates because now the board is DEAD after reinstalling Windows and installing MSI updates which I flashed the bios updates in x64 7 and it went wrong.

"A Bios update completely bricking a board when being flashed properly is inexcusable. It's one thing if it happened to one or two people but this has happened to three people on this forum alone. By that arithmetic you can only imagine how many people it has happened to overall, not just here but else ware. On top of that MSI is obviously getting calls from these people who are telling them their newest Bios update bricked their motherboard and they still haven't fixed the issue. That's just laziness on a companies behalf. A Bios update is supposed to fix bugs not cause them. "
