I think it means optional (as in usage) as NTMBK's link in the OP says it comes with both low profile and regular brackets......which makes sense.

One can certainly hope, though I get the impression from "optional" that it won't be included in the box. Someone will have to either contact MSI or buy one.
I'd buy one myself if it weren't for a big change in budgeting...

Looks like the 'egg just started carrying them! There's only one review so far but they say a LP bracket is included in the box and is an easy swap!
