I was wondering. I put this in a full tower case... Raid Ports on the bottem of board, and I am planning on getting 2 30 Gig ATA100 Quantum Drives. These are going into the top of case...
The cables for that came with the MB are too short. Do you see any reason why I'd have a problem using a 24" 66/100ATA cable for the Raid Drives? I am just wondering if Raid might be more likly to fail with longer cables. Anyone here have long cable on an ide raid? Thanks...
