Here are the specs:
Duron 700 @ 910 (8.5x107)
256 PC133 Ram Cas3
MSI KT7 Pro2a 2.4 BIOS
20 GB IBM 7200 ATA100

Here is the problem, everytime i set the multiplier to any number other than 7 the system just powers (fans) and no monitor signal. I know it's not the CPU because i've put the same chip in an ABIT MB (friends) and it stay OC'd all the time! At a multiplier of 7 everything is fine... but then what's the point of having the duron without oc'ing! Sometimes (1 outta 20 tries) the system will boot with a different multiplier other than 7 (8.5 usually) and i can loop Quake3/UT for hours... actually I looped it for 3 days straight! I was happy but once i rebooted... no monitor signal until i set the multiplier back to 7 and only 7! I've repenciled 5 times thus far and it's works plenty stable on an ABIT board... ah well, maybe it's time for a switch to and ASUS or ABIT... you had your chance MSI... (sigh)

Did you pencil the L7 bridges? That's what I had to do on my Duron 600 and Pro2a to get over 927.

The theory is that the board is using the default processor voltage on boot up before switching to the user set voltage. Once you start overclocking, the default processor voltage isn't enough to power the processor. Penciling the L7 bridges forces the motherboard to power the processor at 1.85V before switching to whatever voltage you've set in the bios.

Try to redo the L1 with conductive ink. I had a 600 that OC to 950 on an A7V, but not the KT7. After I used the conductive ink, it works fine in either system.
