I have bought the MSI KM4M-L motherboard last week for a computer I am building for my nephew. The case was a NGEAR 0302 18IN CASE (400watt ps). I cannot get the MB to post. The system powers up with the fans and lights but not to post. No beeps, no video. I have tried the onboard video and the MSI Geforce that I bought with this order. I put a working Athlon 2400 and two working sticks of Micron 2100 ddr. (they came out of my wifes working system) I have made sure the MB is not touching the case. (I put the insulators between the case and MB before screwing and then redid them) I have tried the ram in different combos. Replugged all the cables (ide) Reseated the Processor with the fan. (using ARCTIC SILVER 3) I am witts end with it. Do you think the MB is DOA? I am experienced building systems (couple of dozen or more)
Any help is appreciated. I need this for Christmas day..Help!!!

Problem solved.. I ahve never used a four pin 12 volt connector on an AMD motherboard before. It was not pluggled in and when I did it worked..

Yup, a lot of AMD mobos are going with the P4 connecector to power the CPU - better stability and allows you to use a lower power PSU even on a fairly loaded system. I won't buy one w/o it any more. Keep an eye out for 'em...
