I just built a new PC with an MSI K9N Neo Nforce 550 mobo. I bought a pair of 1gb ram sticks to run in dual channel.
I put one stick in slot 1, and one in slot 3, which were color coded with the same color. When I boot up, it says it's only single channel!
I then tried slot 1 and 2 (opposite colors) and viola, dual channel. I am wondering, WTF?
Anyone have any experience with this and can shed some light?
