Is there any people able to get over the 1.5V CPU Core Voltage using MSI K8T NEO-FIR/FIS2R?
What's your best OC experience and hardware configruation with this MB?
I open this tread to discuss about CPU Voltage settings on MSI K8T NEO-FIS2R. I have read a lot of online articles. Some say this board can go up to 1.72V and some say this board can only go up to 1.55V.
My personal experience is that there is only up to 1.55v setting in the bios (latest v2.2). I tried to set to 1.55v, but I still only got 1.5 (default for 3200+, newcastle) from the hardware monitor)
Following is my best OC experience:
AMD 3200+ (newcastle)
Crucial Ballistix DDR500 512MB x 1
MSI K8T NEO-FIS2R
FSB 220Hz (1.5v cpu volt)
Ram at 2, 3, 3, 8 (2.85v)
Please let me know if you can alther the CPU voltage. Also what's your OC experience?

unfortunately.... Yes it sucks for overclocking, .13 parts dont do as well as the new .09 venices, also i dont think this mobo has the PCI/AGP lock, to keep the speeds of those busses seperate from the CPU bus. Not a very good board in general, but has served me well as i dont bother overclocking it.
