I'm considering building a new server using this MB. The main reason I'm interested in this MB is cost. The other dual-Opteron MBs are at least twice as expensive. If this board is no good then I'll probably build a dual MP system because the cost of the the Opterons and the MB is just too expensive right now.

How long have you had the board? What type of server are you using it for? Are you only using it for a test or development server or in production? Have you had any problems with it? Is the performance up to what you expect. Which Opteron model are you using on this board?

According to a post he made in one of my threads over at 2cpu.com, I can tell you he is running 246 Opterons

I've had the system up and running for close to 3 mos. now. I'm actually not using it as any kind of server (sorry to disappoint you). This is just my personal rig that I built for everyday use (internet, gaming, and maybe for more professional apps. later on). So far, it's performed beautifully, with no problems whatsoever, unless you count the fact that I couldn't get MBM5 to work properly. But that wasn't a big deal, because SpeedFan seems to work like a charm.

Btw, Coolred was correct, I'm using Opt. 246's, mildly oc'ed to 2.1.
