MSI K8N overclocking questions

I'm doing the whole isolate thing and I set my RAM to 100mhz and all other settings auto configured.

Everything else is at defaults. SATA drive is on port 3 so it's locked.

Most people seem to be able to run 250x4. I can't do that. Nor can I do 240x4 or even 350x3. It's not that problem with going over 219 because I can do 220 on the FSB.

I can't post anywhere near what other overclockers have gotten this board too. Do I have a bad board? 🙁

Step 1 of isolating on any guide I've read mentions nothing about changing voltage, that's done 2nd after this.

agp/pcie bus lock on
pci bus lock on
set ram to lowest divider

btw i need more info. chip model, core, week of production(preferably), ram, power supply, etc.

AMD 64 3200+ Venice
Thermaltake 420w PSU w/ 24 pin adapter
2GB Corsair VRAM PC3200 (2x1gb)

I'm not sure what you mean by "locks". Every mobo is different and none of the bios features use that terminology. Also there's no specific "divider" section in the advanced RAM settings.

This has screens of what is basically my BIOS. This is the first revision, mine is 1.3.

One thing I thought of...when I say it doesn't post, I mean I turn it on and get no video at all and have to reset the CMOS or hold insert while starting it to get it to boot up. I'm using a regular PCI video card because my PCI-E card isn't here yet.

Could that be part of the problem with my attempts to OC?
