I posted this in the official thread but thought I would also post it out here for any that might know:

Alrighty, maybe i'm a moron, but I have a Zalman 7000B-Cu and to install it I have to change the back plate, so I go to change it and the MSI one won't come off. I have unscrewed both screws and the damn thing seems stuck. I'm sure there is some trick I don't know so I thought I'd ask.

Its probably glued on. Take a hair drier and get the plate nice and hot, then it should come off with minimal force.
