In their memory chart it says if you put double sided memory into the two green sockets (dimms 1 & 3) you get DDR 333 performance but if you put them into Dimms 1 & 2 you get ddr 400 but they said do not put in a stick into a purple slot of the two greens havent been filled... who the hell wrote the manual because that doesnt make any sense... im trying to get dual-channel out of these two sticks (OCZ Platinum rev.2 btw) but the book is conflicting itself... any help appriciated.
(BTW, is it bad if you seated a heatsink to a processor but had to pull it off and reseat it to get it to clamp right? like bad for the thermal material i mean) its a brand new sys never been on and new HSF.)
