im planing on upgrading to athlon 64 and i want a good cheap A64 mobo
is this a good one if not wat should i look into ?

If you plan to do overclocking go for the DFI Lanparty NF4 SLI-DR!
The best one for overclocking!
If you are not willing to do overclocking then I'd suggest you the ASUS A8N SLI Deluxe!
Good price, good mobo, plenty of features and fast!

The MSI is also good but the general community is not very happy with that model, expensive and not too fast!

why SLI?? DFI LANParty UT nF4 Ultra-D or MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum, or if u want a cheaper board: Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9. For graphics. 6600gt if u cant afford x800xl .

i have a 6600 @ 525/700 now

right now i have a p4 2.93ghz(533mhz)

i have 768mb of ram(ddr400) but it runs at 333 because of fsb on my cpu

so when i upgrade to A64 i will get ddr400 speeds

im happy with my gpu so i wont be upgrading that till next gen of cards

im mean it would be kinda of stupid to buy a gpu when the new ones will release in the fall

the motherboard works fine. had no problems overclocking past 250htt also.

its a decent motherboard but my only gripe is the chipset fan which is annoyingly loud.

THIS was the best 939 board with AGP I used. I tried the Gigabytes and MSI and they didn't compare to the ease of use and stability the Epox offered.
