MSI K8N NEO4-F Memory Question

Guys, I'm hoping I can get some help here. Just purchased MSI K8N NEO4-F from another AT member and I'm waiting for my CPU to get it installed. But I read somewhere that this mobo doesn't like 3 RAM? I was planning on slapping on 3 x 512MB memory. I read that it will only run 400Mhz with 4 sticks of RAM.


Any input will be much appreciated. Thanks.

You can use 3 sticks of 512mb but you won't be in dual channel mode. I would try using 2x1gb sticks or 4x512 sticks so you can use dual channel.
