After MSI telling me to RMA the board to the retailer, then only to have the retailer (monarch) send it back to me saying they couldnt replicate the problem, I'm still trying to iron out what's wrong with my system - it shutsdown after post when rebooting.
Does anyone have more than 3 ide drives hooked up? I have a raptor, 2 ide drives and 1 ide dvdrw drive. The system has not shutdown yet w/ only 1 sata connected (no other drives).
When booting from a cold start all the drives seem to work fine. Could one of them be pulling too much power making the mobo shutdown the system? (I've tried 4 differnt psu's). and would that be fault of the drive or the mobo?
thanks,
J
