My OC didnt change until 1.8 or 1.9 then it got worse. I think I ended up leaving it at 1.7. I would say leave it where it is, unless you are having problems or installing a dual core proc.
 
Good post for me to hit up peeps for the best modified BIOS for this motherboard. Want one with the 150 divider!!
 
I wouldn't update the the BIOS unless you need it for a newer CPU core. I stopped at 1.8, but never really noticed a difference in OC ability. I have read about lots of problems with 1.9 and above, so I'm staying with 1.8.
 
I'm running whatever originally came with my board. I have no issues with the board so I haven't bothered to update it. Is 1.7 or 1.8 safe to install (unlike what I've heard about 1.9)?
