I've read that he MIS k8N Neo2 doesnt support dual channel DDR400 ram if its double sided and will reduce the speed to DDR333. My friends ram is Corsair PC3200 . Will this ram work in dual channel at DDR400 or at DDR333 on the MSI board? if it will run only at DDR333, are there any nforce3 boards that can run it at DDR400 in dual channel?

It will automatically put it down to 2700 if you have FOUR sticks of ram in there, but I was able to restore it to 3200 w/ no problems.

It will run at DDR400, but with the command rate at 2T. This is a CPU limitation, so wait for the E revision CPUs if that bothers you.

If there is four sticks, it'll have to run @ 2T mode, depending on the CPU.
If there is two sticks, it should run @ 1T.

It should do 1T just fine at DDR-400, unless you want to fill all 4 slots. I run dual channel on mine at 1:1, DDR-524, and 1T with a Winchester.

I have never had any problems with 1T command rate or dual channel on this board, regardless of the HTT or the divider.

Edit: Ditto using a pair of 512 sticks
