MSI K8N Neo2-F

I just ordered an E6 Venice w/ the Neo2-F and didn't even think about the possibility that the board might not support it. Does anybody know if it does? Does the "F" version use the same bios as the Platinum?

I don't have another 939 chip lying around, so if it won't post with the E6 I might be f#$%d!

I think it should work, if not try a bios update.

I know but will I be able to flash the bios with a chip that the board doesn't support?

Basically...will the board post w/ an E6 so I can flash the bios?

I am thinking of buying this board. Did you get your CPU to work?

I just bought and used one. They should all come shipped with the 1.9 ver. BIOS now which supports the new processors. But have fun trying to get the LAN to work and the drivers installed!!(It can be done-just time and frustration- but now happy with board).

And yes they use the exact same BIOS as the platinums.
