Hi!
I'm lookin for a good nf3 250Gb board and I found these two at the same price here in Canada ...135 canadian
Now my question to u is..which one is better? (performance, stability etc.). I'm not interested in OC it now...maybe after 1/2 years... to sqeeze a little more performance. I'll use it with Sempron 2800+ @ 1.6Ghz (90 nm) mainly for internet, audio, video, dvds etc.
After reading tons of reviews..I understand that DFI has better sata implementation but on the other hand it's mainly for OCers so you have to tweak it a little just to bring it to the normal level of the other boards...so I'm really confused about which one I should get. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx!

Alex.

Neo Plat all the way.

Reasoning: Since you're not interesting in major OC'ing and DFI has RAM issues out the wahzoo, there is no trade off between those 2 major aspects on the DFI board for you. My MSI board has been rock solid since day one, and is very stable with a slight OC such as what you look to do in the future. Go MSI.

What ram issues? I never had any problems with my ram.

A matter of fact I run this 1 1/2 year old 2 x 512 sticks of Crucial value ram pc3200 at 250mhz cas3 using 1T.

While I can't say that I'm completely unbiased, I can say that I've loved my K8N Neo Platinum since day one. My only complaint would be that it's now worth $135 :( Sure, it's a good deal for you, but I paid $197 CDN! Oh well...

The DFI will be better for overclocking, but the MSI K8N Neo Platinum seems to be stable for all the systems I've built out of it.
