Hi, you guys are my last resort.

I recently built my new system with:
AMD 64 3000+
MSI K8N Neo Platinum NVIDIA nForce3 250Gb
2 sticks Kinston KVR400X64C3A/512
Western Digital 120G Caviar
ATI 9000 (didn't have the cash to buy a new VGA so had to use the one out of my old system)
ANTEC 430 PSU
Windows XP Professtional SP1

I installed everything 1 at a time, like your supposed to do. Completed, set up BIOS for fail safe settings.
Installed my OS....ok, everythings working GREAT. 1st try. Test my CPU voltage, temp. Test MB voltage and temp. All fans are going great. Go to MSI website and check BIOS version, and Driver. (all up to date)
Begin to update windows.....ok..ok...all is great. Now it's time to install SP2 and all goes well until time to reboot....then BOOM, the OS loads up to the login screen, then immediately crashes to a reboot over and over and over. I unistall OS (thinking it might have missed a driver), reinstall and update...same thing. Now, I'm just not running SP2. But, then I load up Battlefield Vietnam (game) and BAM it does the same damn thing.....what's going on here?????? I'm at a total loss.

The voltage is set to auto. The lowest choice is 2.50v. Also, I have the FSB set to 200. The board is rated for 800 and cpu is rated to 1600. What should that be set at? Could that be a problem? Oh and by the way. when it crashes, it begins a memory dump.

I have the same motherboard and processor. Getting the same problem.
Install SP2 -> reboot -> machine reboots over and over. don't even see the Windows XP screen.

Are your guys's WinXP CDs the real thing? My nF3 250Gb board didn't give me any problems updating to WinXP SP2 (although I've gone back to Win2000 Pro now). Different 250Gb board though... Asus K8N-E Deluxe here. If you can't think of anything else, hit F8 and see if you can bring up the Safe Mode menu, and try either Safe Mode or Last Known Good Configuration.
