I posted this in the motherboards forum too, thought this place would be better to put it...
So ive got this msi K8N Neo Platinum here and everything powers up and works, I goto install winXP, use the disk for the sata drivers, i format the drive and make my partitions which all works just fine, then i reboot the system to go into the actual windows xp install process and i get the "error loading operating system" error. Anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
Im using the latest msi bios and my setup along with the board is...
a64 3400
Samsung SP1213C - 120gig sata
1gig corsair xms 3200c2pt
Another note, the system sees the hard drive at boot up.
