Just got this board with A64 3000 and need some advice on BIOS settings. Was hoping for some hints and tips on best settings for this MB. I might overclock it a little, but want stability. Also can't seem to find a choice of 1T or 2T in the BIOS anywhere. Currebtly have BIOS 1.6 installed. Thanks

Load optimized defaults, there are no settings you can really change to make it more stable unless its currently unstable. Is it unstable currently?

not unstable now, just wondering if there were a few tweaks to be made to improve performance and retain stability..Thanks, I'll try optimized defaults

Well, one thing that always seems to be reset when I change BIOS' is the 1T/2T memory timing. Seems to default to 2T. Its in the Cell Menu under the DRAM Configuration. Personally I don't care for the optimized defaults, I like to put just about eveything in manual and/or disabled especially for OCing.

The Cell Menu doesn't seem to have a choice for 1T or 2T... any where else it could be found in the BIOS?

Cell menu, then Dram Configuration, then you'll see it.

I don't know why it's not there, I'm looking in Cell Menu and then Dram Config. All thats in there are my memory timing settings... I wonder if the BIOS I'm using( 1.6 ) has this in it.. Thanks for the help 11427.

754.....been doing alot of searching on the web...could be a prob with some of theClawHammer cores. Thanks
