I have an MSI K8N Neo 4 Platinum SLI motherboard (MS-7100) and I am having a problem getting it to power up.

It has been working perfect. Today I took my BFG 7800 GTX video card out to put into another pc that I am replacing this one with. I took a new Nvidia 8300 GS PCI-e and put into my K8N system. I took all of my hd's out and put into the new system as well. Other than that everything else is the same. Here are the specs:

AMD 4400+ X2, 2 gigs of ram, Antec 550 True Power PS and a Plextor PX-716 dvd burner. All of this was left in the computer. I then took the hd out of my wifes old pc and put into this system. It is a Western Digital 160 gig 7,200 rpm EIDE hd. I hooked everything up and then pushed the power button and nothing happened, fans don't turn...nothing. I have double and triple checked everything and still nothing happens. The only indication I have the power is getting to the board is the on-board LAN light lights up when the LAN cable is connected.

I then thought it must be my Antec 550 went south on me. So, I took the 450 watt PS from my wifes old pc and put into this system. Now when I turn on the power supply using the rocker switch the pc powers up, lights in the case come on, fans turn...etc.. It does not wait for the power button on the pc to be pushed though. So, I then removed the power switch wire, hd led wire, power led wire, speaker wire...etc. from the motherboard. With all these removed, as soon as I turn on the ps with the rocker switch, the pc powers up, but it will not give me the bios screen, it just sits there with a black screen.

Does anyone have a clue at all what the crap might be happening here?

Suggestion appreciated.

Thanks!
